Osceola Medical Center Appoints Michael Repplinger, MD, as Medical Director for Emergency Medicine to Drive Restructure of Emergency Department

We're happy to announce the appointment of Dr. Michael Repplinger as the new medical director for emergency medicine. Dr. Repplinger will be responsible for leading a brand new team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians, playing a critical role in reshaping OMC’s emergency department to expand services that ensure Osceolans are receiving the high-quality, patient-centered emergency care they need.

“Dr. Repplinger’s background combines strong clinical expertise with a proven track record in department leadership,” says David Frenz, M.D., Chief Medical Officer, at Osceola Medical Center. “These are qualities that will serve our patients and community well!”


A Wisconsin native, Dr. Repplinger grew up in New Berlin. He earned his medical degree and completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin. Most recently, he has worked as a frontline physician in Prairie du Sac, Platteville, Portage, and Darlington. With over 15 years of experience in emergency medicine, Dr. Repplinger brings a wealth of expertise in emergency department leadership, most recently serving as Medical Director at Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI.
