Kelly Macken-Marble Joins OMC as new CEO

“We are excited to have Kelly on board,” said Ann Marie Pueschner, Chair of the OMC Board of Directors. “Kelly’s abilities and accomplishments across all levels of health care will instantly continue the positive impact we have in our community.”

Macken-Marble comes to OMC from The South Bend Clinic in northwest Indiana, where she has been CEO of this large, multi-specialty physician practice. Her experience also includes senior leadership with CentraCare Health in St. Cloud, MN, and North Memorial Health in Minneapolis.

“I am in health care because I have a passion for creating healthy cultures for providers, team members, patients and families to feel valued,” Macken-Marble said. “It’s about creating exceptional experiences for our staff members, neighbors and communities,” she said.

“The most rewarding part of my work is always to support those who work so hard to take care of patients, families and the communities served. Having worked in health care for close to 30 years, I’ve been so impressed by the dedication of the entire care team – clinical and non-clinical alike – to take care of patients and their families. COVID highlighted this even more. I am in awe of the sacrifices and risks taken to take care of every patient that needs help.”

Macken-Marble has a bachelor’s degree in health services management from Spring Arbor University in Michigan and a master’s in organizational management from the University of Phoenix in Arizona. In coming to Osceola, she said, “rarely have I seen a community more vested in the success of their community hospital. It was truly heartwarming to see the support, and understand how together, the hospital, community and local businesses can grow services to support schools and business.”

Macken-Marble’s “passion to positively impact people’s lives fits perfectly with OMC being the one place for your care, Pueschner said.“We look forward to Kelly’s leadership."

Outside of the medical center, Macken-Marble enjoys kayaking, watching football, reading and spending time with her family.
