David Frenz, MD
Mental Health & Addiction Care

Philosophy of Care: I believe in creating a treatment environment where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their health journey. I listen carefully to understand their symptoms, life experiences, goals, values, and preferences, and then we develop a treatment plan together that helps them live their best life.

What do you like best about working at OMC? I grew up in small towns. Osceola Medical Center is bringing high-quality, "big city" mental health and addiction care to its community. I wanted to be part of that exciting program.

Personal Interests: I love reading and spending quality time with my family. These moments help me recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Fun Fact: Joan and I have been married since 2001. We have three sons and a dog named Lacy. Also, early in my career, I was an expert on ragweed pollen—the stuff in the air that causes allergies.
