Alyssa Torfin, FNP
Family Medicine

Philosophy of Care: I love to deliver personalized care and find answers to improve others quality of life. It brings me joy to help others and I thrive on getting to care for so many different people.

What drew you to work at OMC? Growing up in a very small town of 500 people (in Kansas), small communities have been very important to me. There is just a feeling of unity and friendships that you can not find anywhere other than in small communities like Osceola.

Personal Interests: My husband and I have 3 sons, 2 dogs and 1 cat. Our family hobbies include fishing, camping, hiking, and ... collecting pets.

Fun Fact: I have been in healthcare since I was 15, always making sure my mom (a nurse) knew that I had no intention of becoming a nurse—and here I am!
