Orthopedic Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery
"I enjoy learning about what my patients like to do and working with them to develop a treatment plan that gets them back to those activities."
Length of time at OMC: In addition to seeing patients at OMC, (2022) I work at Twin Cities Orthopedics (TCO). I begin working for TCO as a medical scribe and returned after completing PA school in 2021.
Why do you like working at OMC? As a life-long resident of New Richmond, WI, I enjoy working at OMC for the chance to give back to my community. I love the feel of a small town and sense of community you get when providing care to these towns.
What is your philosophy of care? I assist Orthopedic Surgeon Andrew Schmiesing, MD, to provide orthopedic care and improve the quality of life for our patients. I am certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and completed my schooling at St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. I enjoy learning about what my patients like to do and working with them to develop a treatment plan that gets them back to those activities.
What do you like to do when you’re not at OMC? When not at OMC I like doing anything outdoors with my husband and dogs. I enjoy hiking, hunting, surfing and skiing.
