Philosophy of Care: I believe the human body is a complex organism which should be cared and nurtured for in a very humble fashion. Death and disease is a part of life and no one has all the answers to easing this burden. By working together, a patient and clinician can find answers that work for them and improve their health and well-being. These answers should fit into the patient’s philosophy of care, the framework of their family/community, and their desire for their life.
What do you like best about working at OMC? I find that OMC gives me the opportunity to do what I feel God has called me to do in an area of the country that is beautiful and filled with interesting people. The people of the surrounding area still have trust in their caregivers and are somewhat more oriented toward health and well-being than to medicines and medical procedures.
Personal Interests: I like to gather with fellow believers in Bible study and worship. I enjoy dates with my wife and spending time with my children. I like to read books on leadership and spiritual growth. My favorite activities are hockey, camping, hunting, and working in my yard.
Fun Fact: I have always wanted to go hang gliding.
