Carter B. Berg, DO
Family Medicine
Philosophy of Care: My philosophy of care is rooted in my desire to be a servant leader of a community, compassionately delivering evidence-based care for the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. My goal with each patient is to meet them where they are and guide them to lead the healthiest life possible in concordance with their values. Through active listening, I help each patient feel heard and cared for, and I do my best to communicate medical information in ways my patients can understand. Through both acute and preventive care, I hope to bring healing through trust-based relationships and seek to make my community better than when I found it.
What drew you to work at OMC? I came to OMC because the organization is supportive of physicians having the careers they envision for themselves, their values align with my care philosophy, and because I wanted to be closer to family.
Personal Interests: I love spending quality time with my wife, son, dog, and extended family. My family and I enjoy being involved in our local church. I love anything outdoors, including sailing, hiking, camping, and more. In addition to having a passion for learning about US and world history, I am also a car enthusiast.
Fun Fact: I am an Eagle Scout.
