ATHLETIC TRAINING

for peak performance

ATHLETIC TRAINING

OMC's Athletic Training Program is designed for Osceola School District coaches as well as student athletes and their parents to help prevent injury, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate local high school athletes all year long. Our staff of sports fans includes a medical director, athletic trainer, and physical therapist.

Our athletic trainer attends all practices and games and manages the day-to-day tasks to help prevent injury and be on hand to assist with rehab if injuries do occur. Following an injury, the trainer will coordinate care with our medical director and physical therapist for safe return-to-play.

Parents! Here's what you can do to help us keep your athletes healthy and at their peak performance:

  • Schedule well visits every year and athletic screenings every other year.

  • Schedule a concussion impact baseline test every two years.

  • Report all injuries to OMC's athletic trainer. If your athlete visits a medical provider for injuries, request medical records be sent to Osceola Medical Center Attn: Athletic Trainer, PO Box 218, Osceola, WI 54020, so return-to-play protocols are followed.

Since we first opened our doors in 1932, OMC’s mission has remained the same: to inspire and improve the health and well-being of our community by combining quality "big city" healthcare with home-town customer service.
