“Compassionate, patient-centered, and culturally competent care is what I always strive for with every patient encounter.”
Length of time at OMC: Before coming to OMC in 2022, I was working with young children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. I also worked in a Spanish-speaking clinic in West St. Paul, MN providing type 2 diabetes education to patients and their families. Along with my position at OMC, I am also currently working as a physician assistant at the Allergy and Asthma Center of Minnesota in the Maplewood and Woodbury locations.
Why do you like working at OMC? I enjoy working at OMC because I really resonate with their mission of providing exceptional and compassionate care with a hometown feel to the people of the upper St. Croix Valley. I am excited to be a part of this mission and establish strong patient-provider relationships and see both patients and their families in the long term.
What is your philosophy of care? I always want patients to feel as though they always have a say in their care. I want patients to always know all of the options that are available to them so that we can together come up with the best decision for them. Compassionate, patient-centered, and culturally competent care is what I always strive for with every patient encounter.
What do you like to do when you’re not at OMC? I love spending time with my family on the weekends and going on walks in the park enjoying the beautiful fall weather. I have one niece and one nephew who I also enjoy seeing and making memories with. In my spare time, I like watching movies and attending new musicals and shows.
Fun Fact About Me I really love doing puzzles. I find it very relaxing, but also very challenging.
