Searching for a health care career that fits your needs? Osceola Medical Center has a rich history dating back to its founding in 1932. Throughout our growth, expansion, a new facility and the creation of this campus, OMC’s character has remained the same: to inspire and improve the health and well-being of our community through home-town customer service, quality health care and strategic partnerships.

We can say the same things many other medical centers say, that we combine technology, outstanding patient care and friendly service to provide you with the best care possible. Instead, we think our dedication to patients is best summoned up when our patients refer to us as “One Place”.
Our Culture
Thank you for your interest in Osceola Medical Center. We’d like to tell you what to expect when you come here. We have created the “One Place” our neighbors want to come to for their health care. And in doing that, it's also become the one place where we want to work.
Our perspective, "Your Whole Life in One Place," gives us a lens into who we are, what we want to do and how we will get there. It allows us to align all of our efforts so we can better help each other provide great care. This also extends to where we live. With most everything we need within a 15-minute drive, we can help our communities become the One Place to raise families.

We come together for one purpose: to be the One Place that provides friendships, support and laughter. It allows us to provide the care you would want your family to have, and the kind of experience worth talking about.

We hope you want to be the one.

Our Community
osceola—a delightful surprise
Nestled along the banks of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, our Osceola community has been described by many a travel writer as “charming” and many a newcomer as “a delightful surprise.” We’re happy to quash any pre-conceived notions about small midwestern towns—and even happier to report that the best parts of small-town life—Fourth of July parades, county fairs, Mom and Pop storefronts along our main street, a true sense of community—are alive and well in Osceola!
Settled in 1844, we’ve preserved enough of our early history to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places—many of the town’s original buildings, built by lumberjacks, fur traders, and other early settlers, still line downtown area streets.
Less than 40 miles from the Twin Cities metro area, Osceola is also a gateway to four state parks. Walking trails lead from downtown to Cascade Falls and the St. Croix River, to the bluff overlooking the St. Croix River Valley, and along Osceola Creek (a Class II trout stream). Hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, skiing … if you love being active outdoors, there’s a lot to love in Osceola!

Volunteering
Osceola Community Health Foundation is committed to building strong and healthy communities through charitable giving, community partnerships, and volunteerism.

Our employees participate in our employee giving campaign, awareness campaigns, community events, and other fundraisers to help those in need. We also combine forces with our community partners to strengthen our community. Some of our community partnership includes Wheels and Wings, Brew Fest, Rhubarb Days, Does on the Go, School Events, etc.

Employee Community Volunteer Program
Our OMC employees also generously give their time, talents and treasure to make a positive impact with our community through other organizations. In 2020, volunteers donated their time to community service projects in the hospital's service area.

Volunteer at OMC
Volunteering allows you to make a difference in the lives of others. Many opportunities exist for community members to volunteer. Your efforts help to enhance the patient experience and provide the high-level care our community expects.

Our most common opportunities involve helping at our gift shop – Prairie Gifts – and at the Concierge’s Desk. We also have opportunities in our John Simenstad Surgery Center and assisting with various events such as the Red Cross Blood drives. Most opportunities are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours. If you are interested in volunteering at OMC or would like information, contact Sara Cutts, Community Engagement manager, directly at 715-294-5757.
