Our Anticoagulation Care program conveniently addresses the concerns and needs of those who take oral anticoagulants like Coumadin and warfarin.

Anticoagulants are given to people to stop blood from clotting inappropriately in blood vessels. This is useful in prevention therapy for such medical conditions as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarctions and strokes.

Our ACC program is designed to provide comprehensive and personalized anticoagulation care necessary to ensure your therapy and decrease potential drug-related complications. This service provides patient-centered care, on-the-spot lab results and decreased potential for drug-related complications.

We provide a nurse specialized in anticoagulation care who will manage your tests, gather your results, work with your health care provider to adjust your medication, answer any questions or concerns you may have and schedule your next appointments.
